Schools (Residential Outdoor Education) (Scotland) Bill
The National Carer Organisations submitted a response to the Schools Residential Outdoor Education Scotland Bill on 4 September 2024.
In our response we highlighted the additional barriers to disabled children and young people, and young carriers in accessing outdoor education. We also focused on the importance of outdoor education in providing short breaks and longer term benefits in the caring relationship.
