Launching our new brand and website

The team at Shared Care Scotland are delighted to be launching our new brand identity and website today: a significant milestone for Shared Care Scotland and the vital work we do.

Our revitalised brand goes beyond a simple change in appearance. It represents our growth and evolution, and our unwavering commitment to improving short breaks provision in Scotland.

Being able to access good quality and reliable information on short breaks is vital to unpaid carers getting the right break at the right time. Over the past year we’ve been working hard to understand better what carers – and those working to support them – need from us and our website and we’ve made significant changes to help them get quickly and easily to what matters most to them.

We’ve simplified our website and made it easier to identify where to go as soon as you land on our site. For example, we’ve grouped information under headings such as ‘for carers’, and ‘for organisations’. We’ve also completely changed how we present our directories of information on breaks and funding, with easy to navigate tabs, responsive filtering, and a robust search function.

Importantly, our new brand identity and website have been a whole team effort and they therefore strongly reflect our shared ideas and aspirations. Both convey the core values, purpose, and vision that drives our work: to enable and empower carers to achieve a balance between their caring responsibilities and other fulfilling aspects of their lives that promote good health, wellbeing, and happiness.
