The language of short breaks and respite
About this event
Duration: 3 hours
The purpose of this event is to explore the language and terminology surrounding breaks from caring - short breaks, respite, replacement care and understand how it can shape people's preferences, experiences, and outcomes.
This event will be mirrored by a parallel event in Wales and the two groups will share ideas and discussion points during the event. The findings from the event will be published in a report and may form the basis for follow-on events or research.
The event will be held at the Barracks conference venue in Stirling, with lunch provided afterwards.
Places are limited to 25 for this event. Please register your interest by clicking 'Visit Website' on the left and we will confirm your attendance by email. Shared Care Scotland is co-hosting this event with Stirling Carers Centre, in conjunction with Bangor University.
