Brief description:

Our eight self-catering log cabin lodges are available for short breaks and holidays throughout the year. Two of the larger lodges (Gamrie & Huntly) are suitable for guests with mobility issues, and provide guests with ease of access, with all lodges being on one level.They stand in 28 acres of beautiful native woodland, with Scots pine and silver birch being the principle species. We are also very happy to welcome well behaved pets in all of the lodges.

The 2 lodges suitable for guests with mobility issues are Gamrie and Huntly, we always recommend having a brief conversation with us initially so as both you and we can be sure the lodge will be a good fit, we want your holiday to be enjoyable for everyone.

Type of accommodation:

The 2 bedroom lodges are set out over 1 x double bedroom and 1 x twin bedroom so will sleep 4 people, the 3 bedroom lodges are set out over 1 x double bedroom and 2 x twin bedrooms, so will sleep 6. All of the lodges are fully equipped for self-catering, each is totally independent of the other lodges, the only shared facility is the laundry and information lodge.

Full service description:

The lodges are set in 28 acres of natural woodland, with a small loch and two miles of walks. Home to local, native wildlife and offering a tranquil setting for getting away from it all, but still easily connected to the outside world, just 10 minutes from Forres and all with Free WiFi. There are many places of interest to visit.  Brodie and Cawdor Castles are close by, as well as Elgin Cathedral, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George.  Or you can simply enjoy the wildlife. If you need a quiet break be it 2 nights or more you really couldn't choose better than one of our lodges , they really are a "home from home"

What is included/not included in the price of the break:

The only extras are towels (£1 a set) and electricity useage , this is done by meter reading upon departure into an honesty box in each lodge, so guests pay only for what they use.

Well-behaved pets are welcome in all our lodges, and with acres of woodland walks, they'll, enjoy it as much as you, explore the 28 acres, wander on the lovely nearby beaches, enjoy a meal in the local dog friendly restaurants
