We offer information, advice and support for young and adult unpaid carers and those for whom they care, who live in the North West Edinburgh area. Our services include - One-to-One support, Home visits, Support groups, Dementia services, Adult short-break services, Young Carer support groups, Young Carer school support services, Educational courses, Recreational groups, trips and outings.

Referrals can be by telephone, e-mail or personal visit. Self referral or health or social care referrals are welcome.

Full service description:

Some of the services we offer are: Alternative to Day Care - We have a team of support workers to look after the person you care for at home (sometimes taking them out) so you can have a break for a few hours. Side By Side - The main aim of the Side By Side Project is to help Carers and the person they care for, who are living with Dementia, or Cognitive impairment, to live well. Wi Rascles - Anyone, under 16 years, who carries out significant caring tasks for another member of their family on a regular basis. One-to-One and Group support sessions are also available for the Young Carers. Adult and Young Carer support groups Educational and recreational courses/information days One to One Support Home Visits
