If you are aged 18 years or over and are living in the Greater Glasgow area, contact the office for an application pack and then come in for an informal chat.
Full service description:
Befriendees are matched with like-minded volunteers who can help them take part in a range of social activities, for example: Sport/physical exercise, cultural activities, eating out, informal learning opportunities, shopping within reason. It can be anything a joint decision between befriendee and befriender. The benefits of having a befriender are: going out once a fortnight with someone who is friendly and approachable trying new activities and see new places having someone impartial to talk to gaining confidence in social situations starting to lead a more independent life This service takes place in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
