Home support service for people who have a diagnosis of dementia up to and including the age of 65. An assessment takes place to assess the needs of the individual and services can include activities / outings outside the home or support within the home eg sitter. Services Offered: Information and advice Family outreach support Community and home support Carer support and education Day clubs for younger people in the early, moderate and later stages of dementia Monthly 'Oasis' social club for carers and younger people with dementia A holiday for younger people with dementia and their carers Polish Befriending for Polish people of all ages Meeting Place for people with dementia and carers of all ages First Saturday of the month, 12-3pm, Lifecare Centre, Stockbridge Last Saturday of the month, 12-3pm, Eric Liddell Centre Cafe, Morningside Day opportunities for people in the early stages of dementia
