Brief description:
Short break respite service for children and young people 5-18 years old with complex to profound learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities; multi-sensory impairment; complex health care needs; and who may present with challenging behaviour. An opportunity for disabled children and young people to have fun, gain independence, learn and develop while families get to take a much needed break. Every disabled child and their family should have the right to short breaks. We're here to help make that happen, by offering flexible and accessible support.

Full service description:
Lisalanna provides a respite (short breaks) service to children and young people aged 5 to 18, including children with moderate to profound learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities, multi-sensory impairment and complex healthcare needs, and those with challenging behaviour. The service helps children to realise their potential through communication, socialisation and interaction, personal care and life skills. The service is for children and young people 5-18 years old with complex to profound learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities; multi-sensory impairment; complex health care needs; and who may present with challenging behaviour. All service users are given opportunities to access and participate in a wide range of community facilities.
