Brief description:
Thanks to the fantastic support and sponsors Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation has earlier than expected been able to realise Les personal goal of having not one but TWO holiday homes at Craig Tara holiday park in Ayr for the DreamMaker Families. Please note the vans are not adapted for wheelchairs. Craig Tara Is a beautiful park located on the west coast of Scotland where we have our two DreamMaker Foundation respite Holiday Homes for the children and their families to spend some well deserved time together away from the hospital environment and just be a normal family for a little while. The location is perfect if any family needs to get back to hospital quickly.

How do people access your service:
To apply for a break at our holiday homes please complete the form at the bottom of this page.. We now require a £50 refundable deposit to confirm your booking. This is due to misuse of the Caravans. If you treat the caravans with respect and leave them in an acceptable condition You will be refunded within 5 days of giving us your preferred refund method. (or you could always leave it as a donation towards the cleaning and upkeep of the caravan)
Type of accommodation:
Both holiday homes sleep 6 people, one double bed and two rooms with twin beds. The lounge has a television and dvd player with a selection of DVDs. The holiday homes are central heated and double glazed throughout. There is a shower room with toilet and a seperate toilet room. The open plan dining area and the kitchen have a table and chairs, gas oven and hob, kettle, four-slice toaster, microwave and fridge freezer. Bedding is provided. There is also a hairdryer and iron. and a selection of DVDs, books, and games. Both vans have decking and patio set

Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation. The good work of this group has been carried out throughout Scotland since 1992; making dreams come true for some very special children with life-threatening illnesses. In September 2014 we became a registered charity to enable us to grow and bring a smile to the faces of a greater number of children. This large and lively park slopes gently to the beach and always has loads going on. Each DreamMaker Family will receive free entertainment passes for the duration of their stay and a discount card that allows a 10% discount on purchases and 50% discount on activities. Families will need to take their own towels, toiletries and food. Please note the vans are not adapted for wheelchairs
