Brief description:
The scheme provides fully trained, security cleared Care Attendants who substitute for the carer for a period of time on a regular or flexible basis. This allows the carer some time to themselves, either within or outwith the home. The scheme provides an experienced and confidential service to those in need of our support.

Access to our service is by telephoning or calling into our office during office hours. A 24-hour emergency answer phone is available.

Full service description:
Our carers are trained in moving and handling using hoists etc and can carry out personal care and support for visitors to the area in self catering or hotel accommodation. Our primary focus is to ensure that every service user receives the support that is right for them. We can support you with: Personal Care Getting up in the morning or going to bed at night Respite Companionship Housework Support to work placements, college or clubs Leisure activities Going on holiday End of Life Support Overnight Support The scheme provides an experienced and confidential service to those in need of our support. We respond to individual needs within the resources available to us.
Price information:
Grant funding is received jointly from Highland Council Social Work Services and the Highland Health Board. The cost of any private care is assessed on individual requirements.
