How do people access your service:

Unpaid carers eligible for a break must be 18+ and full-time (30+ hours per week).

Full service description:

Carefree is a multi-award-winning digital charity with a mission to offer
every full-time unpaid carer in the UK the chance of an annual short break by partnering
with the hospitality industry to donate its excess capacity.

Full-time unpaid carers can access the Carefree Breaks Hub through the organisation’s self-referral pathway or by being referred by one of Carefree’s 120+ Community Partners (carer support organisations) nationwide.

- Most of our breaks consist of 1-2 nights, twin or double, including breakfast.

- Eligible carers must be: aged 18+ and a full-time unpaid carer (30+ hours per week)

- The break is for the carer only. They are welcome to take a companion but not the person(s) they care for.

- Carers may book up to 1 break per year until they are no longer caring.

Price information:

£25 admin fee per booking
