Let us give you some relief. Sitter befriending service provides a 2/3 hour carer respite service. We can provide this service for one week or on a continuing care basis. Respite also provides a positive experience for the housebound person receiving the visit.

Full service description:

Age Peterhead, a local charity, has been delivering a sitter service since 1990. We aim to provide a comprehensive and practical service for older people and disabled people living in Peterhead and the surrounding areas. Usually our sitters are provided by arrangement with Aberdeenshire Social Work Department but occasionally we arrange to provide sitters on a private basis. All our volunteers are subject to references and disclosure.

Price information:

The service is free through the local council social service department or private at an hourly rate by contacting the charity direct.
