Our guest bedrooms - seven single and eight twin-bedded - are light and spacious. The single rooms are allocated on a nursing need basis. Full service description:
Leuchie offers guests and their carers the reassurance of 24-hour expert nursing care in a beautiful 18th Century classical mansion house in the East Lothian countryside. A day respite service is also available for people living locally, with activities and physiotherapy offered to guests - and peace of mind for carers. We offer a varied programme of outings and leisure activities, ranging from theatre trips to museum visits and local pub lunches. In-house entertainment is also arranged for each holiday by the activities team. Our physiotherapy team recognise the importance of physiotherapy, both for short-term well-being and also for equipping guests with advice they can use at home in the longer term. Complimentary physiotherapy with expert practitioners is available in our on-site physiotherapy suite and is tailored to individual needs. A wide range of different therapies and beauty treatments and hairdressing are available on site at varying prices. Leuchie's home-cooked meals are tailor-made to guests' specialised requirements and menus are devised with an emphasis on nutritional values and based on local, seasonal ingredients. Most people stay at Leuchie for eleven nights, which run from Mondays to Fridays, but shorter breaks of either four or seven nights can be accommodated, depending on availability.
